"El Grande 2" Double Edge Safety Razor (Open Comb) has a chrome-plated brass handle that is lathe turned and a deep knurl pattern is carved into the metal. The head is molded from high-quality Zamac. The head & handle are then polished by hand on a buffing wheel, plated with copper, then nickel, then chrome.
 
The open comb design is best suited for the more experienced wet shaver.
